Elevated Work Platform Training (Scissor Lift)
Elevated Work Platform training is MANDATORY for workers who are authorized to operate an elevated work platform. In this course, participants will receive training on safe operation and maintenance procedures for Scissor Lifts.
This course can be offered with Genie Boom training at a discount rate.
Course Content
Course Prerequisites
To take this course, participants must have current certification in one of the following:
Working at Heights - Construction
OR
Working at Heights - Industrial
This course includes a combination of classroom & hands-on practical instruction. Participants will receive training and be evaluated on the following topics:
● Regulations
● Pre-operation checklist/Inspection
● Safe operating procedures
● Lift and load limitations
● Rescue plans
● Risks and hazards
● Roles and responsibilities
Certification is valid for three years
Evaluation
● Written quiz
● Practical evaluation
Deliverables

● Record of training
